When the song is over, the mic is turned off, the lights are dimmed, all the glitter and glamour shed, and I am left alone with my own thoughts, free to contemplate the paths that led me to where I am today, I pause to give thanks.

Cece Winans

I sang in a gospel choir at a Baptist church in South Central Los Angeles in my early twenties. The memories I have of Friday night rehearsals and Sunday service, fill my heart with inspiration and a calling to sing again. This song, and the gratitude and uplifting feelings I experience as I listen to it, are so powerful. I feel compelled to share it right here, in this sacred space, with you.

Move the immovable. Break the unbreakable. From the impossible, we’ll see a miracle.

God, we Believe.
