It is said and believed that as we get older, we have tendencies to fall into rigid patterns, whilst curiosity, risk, and exploration are forgotten.

When we are young, we have not yet discovered that we have so much to give and the more we give, the more treasures we discover within ourselves.

I once believed that my voice didn’t matter and I wondered who would care what I had to say, in a world filled with endless options.

As I compared and contrasted and as I witnessed others, I found that I wrote less and only doubted my place and my voice even more.

I was so wrong.

As I share my voice, I realize that my dream can be planted in others.

As I live and express, I can only hope that others begin to live too.

Sharing is just the beginning.

We must not fear or hold back our thoughts and feelings.

It is also true that creation comes from an overflow.

We must learn to nourish ourselves and not be afraid of fullness.

The fullness is like a tidal wave that carries us and sweeps us into experience and into our writing, our art, our sport, our passion.

May we permit ourselves to flow and overflow, allowing for the temperature rises, all the expansions and intensifications, and all of the possibilities to reveal themselves through this process.

Something is always born of excess; great art is born of great terrors, great loneliness, great inhibitions, and instabilities.

May we find the balance through it all and

May we each give ourselves the permission to feel, express, share, and overflow...

It is in this space, that we will grow and thrive, beyond what we believe to be possible.

My memories are echoes from another time; another

My memories are echoes from another time; another place.

Each moment was lived; each future moment will be cherished.

My memories serve as invaluable threads in the tapestry of history as I create and interpret meaning and understand the important, connected consciousness that binds us to each other.

Retrospection is a gift, if we take the time to understand the past for what it was. Then, may we think and walk onward as we continue to gain wisdom moving forward.

Taking the time to reflect is noble and our thoughts and lives will shrink or expand based on our courage. Without reflection, we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences.

What an amazing journey this life is upon examination, reflection and mindfulness.

May we continue to not only experience each moment, but also truly understand the depth in all of them.
